When it's time
Most jobs come from one of three places: vet advice after slip injuries or lameness, worn concrete that's been polished smooth by years of hooves and hosing, or older floors where the surface has dissolved and started failing under effluent. In some sheds, epoxy resurfacing is the right fix before or alongside grooving.
If cows are hesitating on the yard, rushing the platform, or you've had one go down — it's cheaper to fix the floor properly than to lose a cow.
